About
Change Fusion Nepal is in the business of promoting social entrepreneurship within the country. The core focus is to help create successful entrepreneurial stories that impact daily lives of the underprivileged in Nepal in order to serve as a model that change is indeed possible. Changefusion does this by announcing an annual entrepreneurs’ competition, selecting finalists, training them towards a fellowship cycle where they become ready to start turning their dreams into reality.

Program description:
Annual competition for young people to set out their ideas, vision and ways of implementing a social venture. From all participants, ten finalists are selected to receive additional support  thoruhg annual fellowship program. Fellowship program: Supports young social entrepreneurs in financing, essential development knowledge & tools on social entrepreneurship, technical consulting through mentorship and access to diverse networks are provided.

Participants:
Youth from Nepal aged between 20 to 35 years who demonstrate entrepreneurial potential and a passion to innovatively creating social impact.

About
With a dream to tackle the critical issue of youth unemployment, the Nepal Youth Business Foundation was created in June 2004 by the Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI) and the Nepalese Young Entrepreneurs Forum (NYEF). The programme currently operates in Kathmandu. NYBI is committed to promote entrepreneurship development among under privileged and disadvantaged youth by developing their business ideas into viable enterprises under the guidance of a mentor.

Program description:
NYBI provides 1. Finance: Loans Up to Nrs. 50,000.00 – Nrs. 1,50,000.00 with 5% interest on the principal per annum; and 2. Business advisors as advisors for start-ups.

Participants:
Participants are between 18- 35 years old, from a disadvantaged  background, e.g. without alternate resources. Participants nee d to have a viable business idea and a strong will to succeed.
